White Line Fever Review

This book is amazing. I'm not  just   saying that  cause i'm a  big Motorhead fan. If you like  Music in   general this  book is a  good time. Lemmy tells you about  starting out, random things that happened while  touring, and  about  random musicians  he  met  along the way. Lemmy was an amazing human in  general. I have been  waiting  to  finish this  book  for a  while, life and  bullshit  got in  the way  as  usually. I actually  bought the  book the  day he  died. As a  heartbroken fan it has helped me with his insight into  everything. I love reading  interview  he has done  cause you always  end up taking  something  away from it. This was no different. If you are a  fan this is  definitely  worth the  read. Also  check out the  Documentary on him. It's  of course called Lemmy. I know it  was on  Netflix  a  while back it's a  good time as well.

Let it Glow  by Too Faced

This  was a  christmas  gift from My Wife. I love it so much. I've just  started  experimenting  with highlighters so this is  perfect for that. It's  not  too  over  powering that if  you over do it  that it  will  completely ruin your  make up that day. 

              

                                                     Love Flush in Color Love Hangover                                                    This blush is just  enough on the   dark side that  you only  need to  use  one  coat. It's not one that  you have to cake on to  make it  show, I adore the  color and think it  really  suited  but  a light or  even medium  skin tone. 

It  came with a duo for a  highlighter and  bronze. I do  love the  case I think it really simple  but  elegant. 

1. Candlelight Glow in  color  Rosy Glow

 First off I love the imprint of the  Chandelier but I  really like Chandelier in  general The  shine of this one is  really light but  you can  definitely  add a  few more  coats if  you need something  more intense. Also  keep in mind that  this is on my super  pale  skin tone so of  course it's not gonna be  to intense

2. Luminous Brozer in color Snow Bunny

I'm  really pleased with this one. It's a little darker on my  skin tone  especially and I like the  various of  colors in  it. Plus it got  just  enough sparkle to   really pop!

Finally it  comes with this  Adorable  heart  shaped  brush. The  brush itself  is  supppppper  soft and  I love it,

All in  All I'm  very happy and  impressed with this  glow kit. This is  my first  ever  glow kit. I'm excited to  time a  few  more. Anyone  reading this  has some   suggestion please comment and let me  know!

January 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag review

 Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus  Seed  Mud Mask and  Exfoliant

Some of  the Pur-Lisse products  I've   tried I wasn't  a big  fan of. This was actually  a  pretty good  face mask. It  does burn at  1st  when you  put it on. After about a minute that  stops.  you are  suppose  to  where it  for  10- 15 mins I   had  it  on a  big  longer.  Afterwards my  face was  smooth and  it  tightened  up my  skin a little. I would   definitely use this  product  again. 

Ciate London Geology Gel

I'm  a  big  fan of this brand I have gotten a  couple  of the Polishes including the  red  color I used  and  I've gotten some  Mascara ( which i  may have to   do  a  review on since I have a lot of  mascara) The  gel  goes on   smooth and  stays on  longer. I did do  dishes  after this and  ruined it. I really need to invest in a  Gel Lamp at this  point  since I do my  nails  so much. 

The Balm  Cosmetics Bahama  Mama Brozer 

I'm  a big  same of The Balm. Everything I have  tried of  there i'm  really  happy  with.  This is  no  different  the brozer  goes on  smooth and it  isn't  too dark that  you can't  blend it it.  I  recommend it. 

        Pacificia Blushious

This  Blush is  very light it's gorgeous and  have the   right  amount of glitter  tones to it. It  could almost  be  used as  a highlighter. Plus  the  case is  my   favorite. I adore the  unicorn on it.  

Trust  Fund  Beauty  Lipgasm in color Method to the Madness

I like  Trust Fund Beauty  from the  products I've  tried with it.  I'm not  a big   fan of  gloss I don't think it  look as  good on me  now that I've  gotten older. Also it  feels  sticky sometimes. This  Gloss doesn't  feel as sticky as  most. The  color is  a neutral  tone so I've not  to bad  usually  darker on  i tend  to   get  everywhere. I happy with it  as  a go to  it  I want something other than my normal matte  lipstick or  it will work it you just want a  little  shine to  to  lips.

This is  my  makeup  after using  all the   products. I'm really happy with this  months  bag.

Leave Your Mark by Aliza Licht Review

I  just   finished this  book Leave Your Mark by  Aliza Licht, I really  enjoyed the  book as  someone  who  loves  Fashion it is  a  nice little  inside to  the PR  part of  it. This  book is  for anyone  that  isn't happy  with the  job they  have and  want to  go in to  something else or  just  follow their  dreams of  doing their  dream job. It  does  not have to  be a job in  Fashion, these  tips and  suggested she  gives  can  work for  just  about any  job you  desire.  She  gives you  tips on  how to caring your self in  person,  through email and  on social  media.  It's  really  inspiration to   read and learn how  she  left the  medical  field to  join the  fashion  world. It really  shows that  no matter what you are doing at the moment  you can  do  a  complete  360 and with  hard  work and  you can  go into  your dream career.

This is not (just) lipstick.

I'm  obsessed with makeup. I  get a  Sephora Play Box every month and i'm a VIB member. I  get an Ipsy bag  every month and I'm an Ipsy OS  member. It's a love  affair I have. It make me  happy, extremely  happy,   I love Lipstick. This Sephora Play  bag is  my  favorite and I've kept my  lipstick in  it since I  got it. It's  stained  and  wrinkled. Finally  I decided to  stick it out  with  last  month's  Lipstick and  Chill bag. I  cut this  bag up and  framed it  for my  office.   Every  Lipstick I have  it  and use   regularly I love. So this  bag  sums  up my  feelings  for it.

This is  not (just) a Lipstick.

Better Together Review

I have  full  explored and  played with the  Better  Together  palette  by Too Faced and  Kat Von D. It's  lovely  really just the   way it's  put  and the  colors  they  used  in  it.  I'm  really pleased  with it. As  a  big fan of  both  lines I was  really  excited  when this  was  announced and  I'm   even more  excited to   try the  other  limited  edition sets they  have out.  When I  find  a  makeup line I like I  stick with it.

The Layout of the  palette  right off is  perfect to  suit both. Cause  Too Faced is very  bright and  pastel  and  Kat is of course  with her  black  theme which  suits  her  so much.

Then Inside  has  these beautiful  Hands  written  messages (of course it's a  copy of the original but it works  perfectly.)  from Kat and  Jerrod typed up one.

the  colors I've  tried on my  Arm  which I'm  super  pale so  some  don't  show up due  to  that.  The  colors as  all  work  better with a  eye shadow  primer to  really   get that   true  color. 

the kit  also  came with  Too Faced  Better than Sex Mascara and  Kat's  Tattoo Liner. Which I love  they  are great. Better than Sex   does make  your  lashes look super long and  the  Liner goes on  smooth and  dark and  it's  easy to  smear  which I love. 

Yes  I smudged them all on  my  hand just to  show you how  dark they are. 

All in  all this Palette is  amazing!  I'm  very happy with it and Think both Teams did  a   fantastic  job of  putting it  together. It  really  functions  perfectly  as a  duo  set. plus this  magnetic  heart is  adorable. 

Plus the  Volume 1  only  makes me   giddy that  there is more to come  from these  awesome brands.

Fit Girl

So I've started this  Fit Girl Journey   about a   year and  a  half  ago. I'm  still   trying to  get a   grip on it.  It is  by  far the  best   fitness program and   support  group I've been a  part of.  I get off track sometimes  but i  always  seem to  be  able to  get back at it.

This is  like a  revolution of girls that  nothing  else  has  worked for them so  this was  founded  by some  girls  who figured out  what worked. I'm on  like  round  60 at this point. honestly  it's more like  round  16 cause there is  1  round a  month.  I've learned a lot about  my self and  what I need to  better myself.  I'm  excited to  talk about it. I've gained a  new sense of  life I  guess.

It's  weird I'm trying to make it  to a  higher place in my  life and  my  weight has always  held me  back.  I've been overweight since  probably  starting when I was  8 or 9. I don't what   happened  really my   childhood is  fussy  for the most  part.  Don't  get me  wrong I love my  Hips and  My Ass is  just now  getting where I want it to  be but  I have got to get  rid of this  stomach. I just want to  feel better  really.

If anyone is  looking for a  program that  actually  helps and has an amazing  support  system it's  definitely Fit Girls Guide. It's Amazing in  all   parts of it.

Hello My  name is   Marilyn and  I addicted to  Makeup.

 yes  I have an  obsession. I love  everything about it. It's relaxing for me and  it excites me. I like  mixing  colors and   creating  new  looks.

My  2   biggest  vices are  Lipsticks in  every color.  Kat Von D and  Ciate London are my  favorite. Mascara  is  my  other. Tarte and  The Balm  are my   current   favorite with it. I will  start  doing  review  on it. Probably  starting  with my  Better  Together  Palette  by Too Faced and Kat Von D.

Once  I finish  playing with it  I will do  a  proper   review.  It's  somethings I've  wanted for  a  while  so  I thought  what better way to   start then now. I will eventually get into  makeup  videos, but  not yet. This is  just a  short intro on my  love of it.

I will post  pictures and random  stuff here.  Also I need to link my Instagram.

This is my look from  today. I  use a dual  lip  which  I saw in  Cosmo and  thought it  was  lovely. I used the  Better Together  and  My Sephora's Winter Wonderland (from last year)  Palette on my eyes.  I have the  Too Faced All that  Glow  kit (which I will have to   review  as well).  My  lashes I have a bad  habit of  use like 6  mascara  at a  time.  Today I use 5  Tartiest, Milk, Smashbox Rated X, The Balm's  Mad Lashes, and Too Faced's Better than Sex.  The  lipstick: the top one is Ciate London's  Liquid Velvet in Head over Heels, and  the  bottom is  Tarte's  Lip Paint in Yaasss.  I'm pretty in  love with this  Dual  lip actually.

Lets talk about  work.

I do  customer  service  for a  big giant realtor online.  Its  go its ups and   down but I love it.  I  started on  the pilot of it so I've been here since the  jump, I worked my  way up to  a Supervisor then a  Trainer and then a  Part Time Coach. I've been  very  lucky,

I have had some  terrible jobs in my  life  working at  gas stations and  for  college I attended  as a  work study and  even selling  sex toys for a  brief  period of time. I was a  supervisor at  a medical  paging  service for a  few  years til it  was  just to  much to  take. The job isn't  bad but the company  puts  added  stress on you. So  for myself I left. My  Wife  unfortunately still works there and now has the  burden herself. 

Oh I forgot to  mention I was  married to  a  chick, I will   do  a post on that  soon. We have a wonderful love story,

I'm full of  stories. 

Anyways my  job is  wonderful. I'm appreciated  and  respected. It is an amazing work enviroment  where you are love and  motivated and make part of the team.  We are the  dream team. I've never been happier in a job, It has it's  moments  where I  feel wonderful helping  customers but other time where i have been told I've  ruined birthdays , Christmas  and  even told to  suck a  12  gauge, 

All in all it's  amazing and i do consider myself  very  lucky,

I'm  Marilyn Maddox!  This is  my 2nd  blogger i'm locked out of the  1st one  so  until i  can  ressurect it  this is it. It's like a  fun new  start to  a better me. Everything else is in the past  at point and i'm done  dwelling on the  mistake or whatever that  has happened. fuck it.  This is my  renewing and  revamping of myself.

Here is  a  few things about  me!

• I'm a  beauty addict, I love  everything beauty from  hair,  nails,  makeup and  colors.
• I'm  fashion  crazy. I have  always  been  drawn to it. It's  something i have been  slacking on  recently  and I want to  get back into. I  started  1st off  my   renewing my Harper's  Bazzaar  subscription. 
• I'm a Fit Girl. Which is  a  revolution that has  started on  Instagram by  some awesome  girls and it's  become a  way of  life. It's  by  far  one of the greatest  things I've  been  the  pleasure of being a  part of  and it's  really an empowering  community for women. 
• I'm  really into music all  kinds. I love  anything with an  amazing beats and  words. I will  have to make  a list of  favorites at some point. 
• I love  old  movies,  dramas and  musically.  I feel like i was  born in the  wrong  era. I relate to  it more than  anything. i'm  an old  soul.
• I'm a  huge  wrestling fan. It's something  I  grew up with and it   that  i just  generally  enjoy. 

This is only the beginning. I'm going to  try to  update this a  few times a  few or atleast  one. I have big plans for this  year and i'm  ready to  conquer and  share it.
