SEPHORA COLLECTION Black Magic Set of 2 Makeup Remover Cloths

. I  saw them  randomly  while search through some  makeup  removers and  decided to  give them a  try. the  come in a  little  Carrying  Case as  shown  above you get 2. I paid about  $12 for them. Which isn't bad  since the other one that  have $20 for one. and  $10 for  a small heart one. So  2  for $12 is a  bit of  a  steal.

The  makeup  erasers come  in   2  colors Black and  Purple. You have to  wash them  before you  use them. Which  will  make  you a  little  sad if  you were excited to   try them out.

I  wear a lot of makeup as  you can  see.

I used the  black one  and  removed  part of my face.  You have  wet the  towel in  warm water and  ring out the  excess then  scrub in   circle to  remove the  makeup.  As you  can  see above It's Pretty  effective only  leaving some  mascara behind. Also that i'm really  sad without makeup. 

This is  after. I'm a little happier. Mostly  excited that it  worked. I've found  that if you take the  excess mascara  off it works a  little better. Since for what I paid  for it  it  does a  pretty  good job and I've  overall  happy about it.

After you are  done with it  you just   rinse it  in  warm  water and   hang it  to  dry .The perks of these is  you only have to  wash them  once a week. I  rotate with mine. After  washing them They  are  still as  soft  as they were when you  pull them out of the package. Only issue  I have  with them is that the Purple will kind of hold makeup.  Note sure if that's cause of the  makeup, mainly  foundation that I wear or just the  color.  The black  doesn't  do that and  still looks new. The  purple  one is  staid  with  foundation even  after washing, again that  could just  be were I  use it  for a  week then  washed it.

Overall they  are  effective and  cheaper than buying  a  bag of  wipes once a  month. I  recommend them.

May Sephora Play Box Review

 This Months Play! by Sephora  box theme was The Rising Stars! My favorite  thing about this subscription box Is that is  comes with this guide on  how to use them. So I thought I would  include it  in  this review.

First things  first lets talk about this bag. this is the  first time they have went with a  non draw string bag. They  went with this  clear pouch made of some tough plastic. I adore this bag since it's  a switch up from  what they  usually do.  I will say that it's  very similar to this month's Ispy bag  since it's  also  see through. Maybe it's was a  random thing or not. I think I like this  bag more, mainly  cause it's  bigger.

I have  recently  been  trying  Hair Products cause I keep  getting them but  never want to  try them before My  hair  is great already. This Christophe Robin Cleaning Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt is amazing. I have honestly  never heard of the  product before so I was  excited to  try it. I took a  little of it and mixed it  with my shampoo which the paper say to  do. It  made my  John Frida shampoo into some what of  a thick paste. I  put it on the top and added some  water and  worked it in. It lathers up big time even with a  little  big of it.  I washed it  out and then  used  my normal conditioner. My hair is  so Soft and I don't have an dry scalp or any of that. I will be  investing in  some of this once this  sample is out.

I love  face  products. I've tried a lot of Clay based ones  in recent months. This is Sunday Riley's Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser. I've never heard of them before that I can think  of. I  used this  last night which  a  little is all you need I used too much actually. I left it on while I shampooed my hair since it  says  if you want to  leave it on.  It  goes on  smooth and washes off the  same way. My face was  soft and actually felt  clean. I have  encounter some face wash that  just leave me  feeling  gross. This  one is  pretty perfect and I will probably  be investing in it. Once I get through all the   random  sample I have  collected over the  past little bit that is.

I also adore a good highlight. I  keep getting treStique products in both  subscription boxes I get. I come to  love the brand so far. This  highlighter goes on smooth and  is  easy to blend. It also does  blend in  so  much that you use the  glow. Which sadly some  highlighters have a  bad habit of  doing. I would  recommend this one for one you can  keep in  your bag  cause it's small and  if you need a  glow touch up it's there.

This is a Nude Stix Matte Lipstick. I don't  think I have  come across anything by the company yet, so I was  excited. it's a  super  dark color especially on my pale skin. Honestly I was  a little  worried  about the  color when I first opened it cause it's this  weird brown. It's  actually  quite lovely on  and I'm really feeling it. I love lip products to  the  point I'm obsessed. this Lip liner  lipstick  are  perfect though. Cause you can  outline then fill it  right in perfect. This also  lasts  a  pretty long time I put it on  yesterday and it lasted  a  couple  hours  before  wearing off.  

Again I'm obsessed  with  lip products. I've  never actually  heard of Grande Lips before (I'm sensing a  theme here) this is  there Hydrating  Lip Plumper.This is the   second  lip plumper I've  tried the  first being  Too Faced's Lip Injection. I prefer this one way more. Too Faced literally  burns when you  put it on. This one does not and it's  perfect. it  does slightly  tingle, but not in  a  bad way. The effect is strudel and  the instruction say to use it  twice a  day for  30 days. So I will  have to  take some before and after and compare after the  30 days.

As always Sephora includes a Fragrance. They rarely  ever disappoint, I think in  total I have gotten one I didn't like. I love  getting sample like this  cause I can  keep them in  my  purse as a  just in  case for girl reason. This is Replica by Maison Margiela, yet another  company I've not  heard of. This scent is lovely. It's not to  harass it's just the  right amount of it so  it's not  overbearing where it is an problem and  you  feel like you need a  shower. I'm really happy with this one.

I'm extremely  happy with this month box. It had a lot of  brand I hadn't  ever come across and I'm always  excited when I can discover something new.  I love all these products and I will be  looking into more  of these  brands products.  If I'm  happy with one I always want to  try them all. Sephora  nailed this  months  box!

May Ipsy Glam Bag Review

This  month glam bag was  pretty  spot on.

First lets talk about this bag. It's a  summer treat theme with various ice creams and  it's clear and  see through to  give it that beach bag feel. I think the  bag and  decision is perfect.  It's  cute and not to  small like some of the  bags tend to be.

This is a Shea Butter & Propolis Lip Balm by Hey Honey. I love  lip product, so I was excited about this. It's  a  little greasy but  it  does leave your lips soft and moisturizer once you get past that. This is something I wouldn't personally buy. I'm not  really big on the  company but I have only  tried an eye cream that  I got from a previous  Ipsy bag. It's  good but It's not something I would purchase either. I've not really wanted to  try anything else so that's just based on the 2  products I have tired.  If anyone  has a  better  experience with other products  by Hey Honey! I would love to hear about it.

I'm a  big fan of Nail Polish in  general. Ipsy always  comes through with giving you some  amazing polishes. This is the  2nd one I've gotten by Adesse  from them and It's a  lovely  shade of a baby blue. The color will  last a  few days but I have  figured out with this one. You have to  put on one coat then  wait  a little while to  do another one or it will not  dry fuller. I usually wait like  30 mins when I use it. I haven't  gotten any other than the ipsy ones, but it  is a  brand I would like to  try  more of.

I love these Luxie Brushes. This is the  2nd one I've gotten from Ipsy  and I am never  disappointed. This one is  a  foundation  brush which is something I've been  looking for a  good one in. I have been  using my hands mostly but this  brush does blend everything in  nicely for the base  coat of foundation I will do  before I contour. I will always  recommend these  brushes until I get a  crappy one. which I don't  think will happen

Ispy is always putting  treStique in their bags. The lip colors are always  smooth and the  colors are always a good shade. I will  keep one in  my purse as a fail safe incase I forget my lipstick at home. They are perfect and  easy to  go on. the lip liner look of it helps to  outline then it's  big enough to use as a  fill in  as well. This is a darker shade that I'm really  happy with.

As of  recently I have just  started to  invest in Urban Decay. I have heard nothing but  good things and  between Ipsy and my Sephora play  box. I have gotten some pretty  good samples that I'm pleased with.  This AfterGlow  highlighter is perfect. you only have to use a  little and it  lights  up your entire  face. I'm going to   invest in  a full size of this at  some point.

All in  all I'm  very happy with this month Glam Bag. I think it  was perfect for me and the products I was  excited to  try.

#GirlBoss Review

If you need a book to inspire you, this is the book for you. Sophia Amoruso talks about her struggle to  figure out what the  hell she wants to  do. You hear tales about how she  use to steal from  art  supply  store then make  returns for the money. How she  started her eBay store and then lost it  cause of some  other  sellers who just didn't like her cause of the  success. It a  great book if you  are still  trying to  figure out what the  fuck you want to  do with your life. The chapters are  short  sweet and  to the  point. Also I loved that she  starts every  chapter with a quote and  ends every  chapter with a  fellow  #GirlBosses story. 

I highly  recommend it.

Also watch the  show on Netflix. It's similar to the  book  with some  twist. It's  definitely  worth the  watch  and it  super easy to binge. I was  very happy with it.

side note I have had this post saved in  my  drafts for a  month. I got busy trying to  get my  damn life  together. I will try to  do  more post more review. I've got some shit to say blah blah blah.

Too Faced and Kat Von D Better Together Cheek and Lip Set Review

This is another part of the Better Together Collection that  they  put out for their Collaboration.

First  let me talk about this  adorable  make up bag. One  side  feature Jarrod's Dog and  the Other  Feature Kat's cat.  The  bag is small  but the  overall design is perfect for this  set. It  shows the look and  feel for  both brands equally.

This is  what is  included in the  set as a  whole.  The bag,  2 Kat Von D lipstick minis and  2 Too Faced Cheek minis.

The Too Faced  products  are a Rosy Glow highlighter (gold one) in Candlelight which is one I already have I got in  the  Glow Kit  I reviewed around the  beginning of the year. It's a subtle hint of glow. The  other one is  a Love Flush blush (pink one of course)the color is  So Happy Together. It is not too dark  like some of the ones that I have  gotten in the  past. I'm really  pleased with both of them.

So I'm obsessed with Kat Von D  beauty. Which is the main reason I got this set (tbh). In this kit it came with a  Studded Lipstick in Muse and a Everlasting Liquid  Lipstick in XD. I love these colors. I'm really into dark colors and  bright colors, not so much nudes. Which the  studded lipstick looks like a  nude color but it's  actually on the  dark  side. Probably cause I'm just  super pale.


Overall I'm very happy with this  adorable  little kit. I got it from Kat Von D website since Sephora was  sold out. Right now they are on sell for $19 instead of the  $32 they  previous were so  go  snatch them up. Definitely  worth it.

April Sephora Play Box Review

First  off lets  talk about this month's bag. It's  cute. Simple and  I love the saying. I wish the  girl had  different  colored  hair. Make like sometimes  rainbow  going on and no just  red. However I like it, Cause it's usually a  blond or a  brunette never a  red head. So it's nice to  see something  random and  different.

This Primer was the  first one I ever tired out of a Ipsy bag actually. I love it. It  goes on smooth and  leave you skin feeling even and it really preps it  for caking on 6 pounds of makeup.

I recently  just  tried a  sample of this before getting it in  this  box. I was  really pleased with it. It smells  terrible but is  very  effective. I was really pleased with how my skin looked and  felt after wards. I would  definitely  recommend  giving it a try.

They  always  send a  perfume sample. I love getting Marc Jacobs one. Because I adore Marc Jacobs. This one is nice and  it's not too overwhelming and it  give you that  happy effect. I love  perfumes like that. Once you smell it, it give you that  calming  happiness effect.

I'm a  big fan of  Make up For Ever. Everything I've  tried  from  them is  eye makeup. It's all amazing. This is  the same. It goes on  dark and it hard to  wear off  if you just  rub it. Which is  perfect especially  when you have a  bad  habit of  forgetting you have makeup on and  rub you eye. I would  highly  recommend it.

When I first  started  investing in  Sephora this was the  first  makeup remover I tried. Cause it  was cheap and I need something. I lucked out with it. It's  great just a  little  goes a  long way and it's  effective. I never have to  scrub, one swipe and it's  gone. Plus for a  big  bottle it's not  much and  definitely  worth it.

This was  my  first  time trying this  brand. I was  extremely  pleased with it. A little goes a long way and it  leave your  skin feeling  hydrated. I'm gonna invest in big time. Right now  Sephora has a  sample pack of  several of their creams.

All in All I'm  very  happy with this  months  bag. It has some of  my favorite and  some  new things in  it  that I was  excited to  try. For  $10 a  month it's  worth it  to  get  these little sample to  try  before you  just  buy a  full size and  waste your money.
